As we celebrate another Independence Day let’s remember all the Great men who worked behind to earn this freedom what we enjoy today. Many of us don’t understand the value of freedom. Only when you undergo suppression and oppression you will understand the true value of freedom. Therefore let’s salute all Great men who worked behind independence, who is protecting the country and those who rule and protect the citizens in the country.
There were many fights and struggles behind earning the Independence what we enjoy today. The route to freedom from Boston tea party till the Independence was not easy. Many gave there lives, many struggled and suffered for the freedom what we enjoy today. Again there were many other fights for the rights we enjoy today. The typical examples are slavery and racism. Great people fought behind with their whole life and earned those rights what we enjoy today. There has always been many people who fought against all inequalities in society and brought freedom out of it. Let’s remember all of them and give a great salute for all those Great Heroes.
Even though there were many who fought on different inequalities in society nobody was able to give freedom from the hands of sin. As we know our fore parents Adam and Eve sinned and as a result all mankind were brought under the yolk of sin. And we lost the glorious contact with God as God is holy and He cannot come to us as we cannot stand before him. The loving God didn’t want to throw away the mankind who He created in His very own image and in His likeness.
We see a great vision of Heaven in the book of Isaiah chapter 6 and there we see a question God ask- “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” (Isaiah 6:8 NIV). Then Jesus the second personality of God replies- “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8 NIV). And we know as per the prophesy when the time came Jesus was born through Holy Spirit in Mary while she was a virgin. He lived as any human as us on the earth and set forth for the ministry when He was 30 and at the age of 33 when He completed all His work He surrendered for the mission what He came for and Jesus who did no sin was slain at the Cross of Calvary. And by his Precious Pure Blood He bought the whole mankind by whoever accepts he or she is a sinner and repent and leave the ways of sins and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and Confess by mouth and believe in heart shall be redeemed from the sin.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. (Romans 10:9-10 NIV)
Thus Jesus re established the lost connection between God and Man through His death on the cross of Calvary and redeemed the mankind or gave victory or freedom over the bondages of sin. What an amazing Saviour!
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13 NIV)
This is why Galatians 5:1 warns us- It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1 NIV).
We have to remember the great pain Jesus went through from the time of last supper to the Cross of Calvary. (which been given in detailed in the last chapters of Mathew, Mark, Luke and John and the prophesy of his death in Isaiah 53). His sweat even turned as drops of blood by the intensity of mental pain He went through during the prayer at the garden of Gathsemane.(Luke 22:44). We should remember all his sufferings and pain and remember He didn’t have to do any of this but Jesus loved you and me and He came down to this wrecked world to save you and me from the bondage of sins. Since we are brought out from the satan’s yolk with a great price let’s not deceive ourselves and fall back to sin. For Jesus not only died at cross He rose from the dead and He is in heaven now and He is coming back soon to gather His children leading Holy life.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1 NIV).
The same question in Isaiah 6:8 is still asking “whom shall I send? Who will go for us?”. Let’s answer God “here I am Lord, send me!” As Jesus did. Let’s go to the people who haven’t heard about this wonderful Saviour Jesus. And be part of Heaven.
